You Are Loved

This is something I've been meaning to do for a while. Mel (the chick) is one of my longest running rp characters, if for the fact that the rp I use her in is constantly being put on hiatus due to life and writer's block getting in the way (both on my part and *Oleatus').

This pic hasn't occured in the rp yet. The scene itself happened in a dream I had while I was in Hawaii back in June. Mel's supposed to be sitting on a table out by her apartment complex's pool, talking to Jake (the guy here, duh) after he's had a particularly shitty day. At this point, my mind decided that Mel had had the time to develop romantic feelings for him, and she confesses to him, which leads to her kissing him as you see in the pic here.

I know that this is far from a perfect drawing, what with the anatomy mistakes, the horrid table and chair, and the minor inking failures, but hey I'm happy with this end result. It's something I've been meaning to draw for a long time now, and I'm glad to have finally gotten it drawn.
