The way she spoke was so unlike what she normally sounded like. The cold, unflinching fury in her voice was so unlike her usual hyperactive, sunny demeanor that it was like another person had taken control of her. But that was not the case.

Metod had shown her how to harness the steadfast, calm power that she held at her disposal as a creature of the Light. How it made much more sense to use that power against a creature such as Viktor, rather than going in guns blazing like how Bezumie usually fought. Using Bezumie's power would only make things worse for Vicky, because the Chaos God would only feed off of that wild, dark power and tighten his hold on the other Swoop.

Even with Metod's power behind her, Sel knew that this wasn't going be an easy fight, but at least it now had that slightly better chance that it would turn out in a more favorable outcome for her and her friend.
